Theory Design announced that Lead Designer Adriene Ged is selecting the furnishings for BCB Homes’ completed Silver King model at Hill Tide Estates, a 9.98-acre gated enclave on the southern tip of Boca Grande being developed by Seagate Development Group and the only site on Boca Grande that overlooks Boca Grande Pass. The interior design elements for the Silver King were created by Lisa Ficarra and her team at Ficarra Design Associates. Priced at $7.5 million, the Silver King model was designed by John Cooney of Stofft Cooney Architects The 4,555 square feet under air two-story home showcases an open-concept, great room floor plan with a massive great room, an island kitchen, family room, four bedrooms, four ensuite bathrooms and two half-bathrooms, a two and a half car garage, and a spacious covered outdoor living area with an outdoor kitchen and dining area, multiple conversations areas, and a large deck with a pool and spa. The home is designed with the master bedroom on either the main living floor, or on the top floor to maximize the breathtaking views of the Gulf and Boca Grande Pass.
The Silver King has been designed to provide a coastal farmhouse look with furnishings that convey a bit of a modern flair. The home’s light wide-plank whitewashed oak flooring and neutral color palette contribute to a bright, light-filled ambiance that compliments and solidifies the spectacular Gulf-front setting that Hill Tide Estates affords. A niche wall finished with tongue-in-groove pecky cypress wood in the foyer establishes the design’s farmhouse style and use of organic elements. Ged continues the theme with a modern furniture piece in the niche that features an asymmetrical wood base and a concrete top. An organic driftwood sculpture is set atop the furniture piece.
The feature wall in the huge great room is finished with an ivory-toned background. Ged has selected a low, modern, dark wood media console to place against the feature wall. Other furnishings in the great room will include a substantial linen sectional sofa measuring 160 by 160-inches, two console tables placed behind the sofa, a 60-inch dark wood coffee table, two oversized wicker armchairs with light tan cushions, and a massive neutral-toned area rug.
The adjoining kitchen will feature an island base cabinet finished in dark wood with light white pickling and perimeter cabinets with a white finish and brushed nickel linear pulls. Light tan solid surface counter surfaces will be found on both the island and the perimeter. Ivory and black woven pattern chunky barstools will offer seating at the island. Three silver lantern style lighting fixtures will be placed over the island. The kitchen’s cooktop hood and wet bar will both be finished in dark wood. The bar will include an undercounter wine refrigerator, a bar sink, a light-toned solid surface countertop, and upper cabinetry with glass fronts.
The dining area has pocketing sliders that open to the outdoor living area. A dark wood dining table will coordinate with the kitchen’s dark toned island base. Ged has selected dining chairs with grey oak legs and white linen performance fabric. A rectangular linear chandelier over the dining table is finished in brushed nickel.
The Silver King’s spacious family room provides a welcoming gathering place as well as access to the outdoor living area and pool bath. Furnishings include a cream-toned sleeper sofa, a pair of white accent chairs that feature a brown wood detail, two brown wood end tables, an upholstered ottoman with a brown wood finish and matching wooden trays, and a brown wood media cabinet.
The first-floor master suite features a private covered lanai that offers a perfect place to enjoy fresh Gulf breezes. The bedroom’s color palette is consistent with the tones found in the living areas. A beautiful ivory upholstered channel bed includes dark brown legs. A bench at the foot of the bed also presents a brown wood finish. The modern streamlined dresser features an acrylic base. A neutral-toned area rug anchors the furnishings that also include two white upholstered chairs in the sitting area. The bathroom is finished with white tile, a free-standing tub, and brushed nickel hardware and faucets. A sleek, straight-lined double vanity is done in modern natural oak.
A cypress staircase leads to the second floor that includes a yoga room, a guest bedroom with a full bath and a walk-in closet, and a second master suite with a huge walk-in closet, a beautifully finished bathroom, and a covered balcony overlooking the Gulf’s spectacular sunsets. The home has been outfitted to accommodate an optional elevator. The second master bedroom features a modern four-poster bed with a metal frame and a headboard finished in linen. Other furnishings include a modern black finished dresser with brass hardware, a bench at the foot of the bed, and two upholstered chairs and a drink table in the sitting area. Ged has included a cocktail table and two comfortable lounge chairs on the covered balcony. The master bath includes geometric tile flooring in browns, whites, and tans that extends into the shower, polished nickel hardware, and white vanity cabinetry with light-toned solid surface countertops.
The huge outdoor living area on the Silver King’s first floor is finished in grey tones. A beautiful vaulted ceiling detail is a design highlight. Furnishings include a 120-inch long dining table with seating for ten, a large sofa, four oversized lounge chairs, and a pair of coffee tables.
